Duchaning

Does Minhag Ashkenaz duchan in any way differently than minhag poland? I refer not to when we duchan but how to position oneself. Are the hands held the same way, ie. with pinky and ring finger together, middle and pointer together, and thumb by itself. Plus the arms extended all the way, elbows not bent, parallel to the ground. And thumbs between the hands not touching.
