Tachanun during the end of Tishrei was created by Melech
Where did the Minhag Frankfurt of not saying Tachanun from Yom Kippur until after Rosh Chodesh Marcheshvon come from? The Maharil says not to say Tachanun on Issru Chag Sukkos, which sounds like Tachanun is to be said afterwards.

The Maharil bring the minhag of Mainz, and according to that minhag tachanun is said on the week after Sukkos. In Frankfurt the minhag was not to say, and this minhag is supported by the Hagahos Oshree and other Rishonim.
