Shemini Atzeres Piyyutim was created by Daniel
How come there is no Ofan recited Shemini Atzeres morning? The first two days and the last all have an Ofan. Being not so familiar with Yotzeros, are there other examples when something is not said (be it Yotzer, Ofan...) I see a new thing in Simchas Torah called Siluk L'Ofan - are these common?

It is quite common that only Yotzer and Zulas are said. This is the way it is done on Shabbos of the four Parshiyos too (Yotzer Zulas and Krovos).
(Also on Chanuka we have Yotzer Me'orah Zulas, but then the Me'orah could be considered coming instead of the Ofan).
On Simchas Torah the Ofan has an ending said by everyone, as it is on the first day of Pesach, Shabbos Chol hamoed and on Shavu'os too.
In our timetable we write in short the Piyyutim said, so by taking a glance you can see what are the Piyyutim said throughout the year.
