Fish and Meat or Dairy and Fish Together? was created by rallisw
1) May one cook dairy (butter, cheese, milk) and fish together?
2) May one cook meat and fish (fish itself or products which contain fish sauce [for example Worcestershire Sauce]) together.

1) According to Minhag Ashkenaz one can cook Fish and Milk etc. together.
2) Although the Mogen Avrohom says that today there shouldn't be a problem of Sakono, the Shvus Yakov, who was a Posek in Ashkenaz didn't accept this. The Chassam Sofer says that although the logic would say that today we should be Matir it, but since the Poskim before him did not allow it, we can't be Matir it Lema'ase.
