Megillah

In Yerushoseinu #1 (pg 26) the well know "Medakdek", R' Dovid Yitzchoki, wrote an article about the Rabeinu tam's megilla, and the old Ashkenaz megilla, and the main point mentioned there is that unlike the minhag used nowadays (which was originated by the Maharam meRutenburg, brought in the Rm"o או"ח siman תרצא se'if ב), that all the Parshiyos are "Stumos", there megilla had many Parshiyos "Psuchos".
It seems that for many many years this minhag was not practiced.
