It isn't clear if the Brocho was said when one got to a place his parents had a miracle, or only in a place he himself had a miracle. Rabeinu Yeruchom says that in the Gemoro we don't find a brocho for someone passing in a place his parents had a miracle, and disagrees with the Ri'f that brings a brocho also in such a case. In the Rodelheim we find a brocho only for a miracle that happened to oneself.
