Broom dance נוצר על ידי meirk

What is the source (in which sefer) to the minhog to dance with broom at the young son's wedding?
What is the reason for this minhog?
Thanks

Although this is definitely NOT a yekkishe custom....we were recently at a wedding where the parents of the chosson were yerushalmim. They had the broom dance (separately for the men and for the women), and distributed "paperlach" which cited a sefer (sorry - we didn't take the paper home) which explained the minhag. To the best of my recollection, the reason for the dance is that when one is zoche to marry off all his children in his lifetime, it's a sign that he is "naki" from chataaim.

I heard the following from my uncle, Mr. Kurt Pollak O"bm, of Washington Heights (but he grew up in Pressburg). The reason for dancing with a broom by the wedding of one's youngest child - regardless of the child's sex - is because the parents have swept the youngest child out of the house.
