What is the method of washing Al Netilas Yodoyim before eating bread? Is it twice on the right hand and then twice on the left hand? or, Is there an opinion that one washes, right, left, right, left?
By the way I understand that Horav S. R. Hirsch ZTz"L recommended raising the hands when saying "....Al Netilas Yodoyim" because netiloh means to raise.

The right hands are washed twice, and then the left hands twice. Rav Hirsch does copy in Chourev that one should pick up his hand while saying Netillas Yodayim.
