The Rov Saying the End of Krias Shema Aloud נוצר על ידי RSteinberger

I have been asked about the custom of the Rov saying the last part of Krias Shema aloud. I have been to a shul where the Rov says aloud from Lema’an Yirbu, but this was only on Rosh Hashono and Yom Kippur; incidentally, as I recall he leined it to the Yomin Noraim tune for leining.
Has anyone come across this Minhag during the rest of the year?

There is a chapter in Shorshei Minhag Ashkenaz v.IV on קריאת הרב מלמען ירבו
I believe it is a year-round thing.

This Minhag is a year-round Minhag.
Although in many places on Yomim Noro'im the Rov reads Lema'an Yirbu in the Tamim of Yomim Noro'im, in FFAM the Rov reads Lema'an Yirbu with regular Ta'amim. This makes sense since according to Minhag FFAM that the Maftir also is read in regular Ta'amim, and only the keri'os of VaHashem Pokad (1st day RH), Vayehi Achar (2nd day) and Acharei Mos (Yom Kippur), are read in the Ta'amim of Yomim Noro'im.
