I have been listening to your invaluable recordings in the "Nussach Project". Long may they continue to enlighten, inspire and act as a rememberance, to those who have come before us.
I noticed that when chanting Lcho Doudi [during the Sefiroh period], you repeated the stanza Bou-ee V'Sholoum twice. I know how precise German Jews are about not repeating the tefilloh, how come you did?

In KAYJ we always sing the Boi Besholoum once by the congregation and then by the Chazzan. Therefore in all of the recordings you'll hear Boi Besholoum twice, but it's not supposed to be done by the same person twice, as mentioned above. This is the way Japhet has written down in all of his notes for Lecho Doudi, and this seems to be the way it's sung also in Washington Heights, as you can hear in all of their recordings.
I don't know a specific reason for this.

In KAJ, the choir sings Bo'i v'shalom before the Chazzan.
