Raincoat for Chasan was created by Israel
It is common in the contemporary Lithuanian yeshiva world for chasanim to wear a kittel covered by a raincoat or overcoat under the chuppah. Is this the practice in minhag Ashkenaz?

Wearing a sargenes under the Chuppa is not a practise for the chatan at all, let alone a raincoat.
