Yekke and Teimanim are saying קמץ as [O:].
Some say that "Minhag Yisroel" was to say differently:
to say קמץ as laying between פתח [A:] and חולם [O:] and sounds as european Ö
to say סגול as laying between פתח [A:] and צירה (E:) and sounds as european Ä
to say קבוץ) שורק) as laying between פתח [A:] and שורק) מלאפום) and sounds as Ü
according to the Sefer שפת אמת
Is it true Ashkenazzi pronunciation? I really doubt. It sounds much Persian.
